Rare. Legally Imported and Titled 1987 G280 G-Wagen with 5. 6L V8 Swap Very cool G-Wagen project almost finished - all the heavy lifting is done. Was originally a G280. but engine and trans have been swapped out for a 5. 6L Mercedes V8. so kind of a G560. Needs fuel injection wired up. radiator installed. and exhaust from engine connected to rear system. and little TLC from sitting. Chance to get a G-Wagen for a low price plus sweat equity. VIN is WDB46023317047784The interior and exterior is in very good condition. especially when you consider it's age - has been in the Southwest US for most of it's imported life. The Recaro seats are the very cool (in my opinion) plaid pattern. and in great shape. other than the drivers outer bolster. which is always the first to show wear. Has locking differentials of course. headlight washers. etc. Worst spot of rust is pictured and is in the drivers door jam. We import Land Rovers. as well as Mercedes G-Wagen. Pinzgauer. Unimog.
