I have for sale a decent 2002 Land Rover Freelander S. The odometer shows 180. 94 miles. I do not know the maintenance history of this vehicle beyond about 5. 00 miles ago. I believe it has had a replacement engine at some point. as the engine has remnants of shipping labels on it. At 175. 00 miles. I installed front rotors and brake pads. I also did the updated thermostat kit at that time. Also installed a new muffler. I do not know the age or miles of the timing belts. but inspected them at 175. 00 miles and all looked good. and the printed on writing was crisp and legible. The good is that it starts. stops. runs. and drives. Heater works fine. and the air conditioner seems to work too. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. Here is what I can say about this vehicle: The drivers side window works. but window motor makes noise and is a little slow. Might be time for a window regulator. It has some dents and dings and scratches that I have tried to show well in the photos. All in all. not bad for a 2002. Small amount of rust at the bottom of the passengers side rear door. shown in photos. A little starting on the drivers door bottom seam. Also shown in photo. Headliner is starting to sag. but not hanging or annoying. Seat are sun faded. and the drivers side lower is torn. It currently has a set cushion cover installed. Tires are older and worn. Not to the wear bars. but not the greatest. I have pictures of all four. Coming back to dents. 2 notable. Drivers side rear door. and passenger side rocker panel under front door. You can see these in the photos. Cup holder in dash prefers to be open. The button that actuates it gets stuck and can be popped back out with a screw driver. Then it closes and stays. Rear seats fold down individually and flip up for larger cargo if needed. The factory radio works. but does not have very good sound. The factory rear sub woofer and amplifier were missing when I got it. Any single DIN aftermarket radio will fit if you choose. The jack kit it there. and stores in the trunk area as seen in photo. It does drip a little engine oil. I believe it is a cam seal. Not real bad. but I am trying to note what I can here. I took a close up of the rear door handle repair. I think someone used it as a step or something. Function fine. but has been repaired as shown. Remote key FOB locks/unlocks doors. Key switch in drivers door quit working. It turns. but does not unlock. I do only have one key for this vehicle. Replacement keys capable of starting vehicle are dealer only items. Fuel mileage is not horrible for an all wheel drive SUV. they get about 22-23 MPG on the highway at the posted 70 MPH speed limit. Thanks for looking.
