2005 Maserati Quattroporte Sedan 4-door

The AUTO-CHECK states this car has Lien / event and emissions issues. THIS IS FALSE. I have a clear title in hand and the car is paid in full with no liens. The vechicle also passed Maryland State emissions certification without problems. I have emissions certificate to prove it. Not sure why it says that. Cosmetic - Overall. the exterior and interior of this car is in incredible shape! I've tried to post good pictures to show everything. There are a few minor nicks from normal use but the paint and trim are in outstanding condition. One very small minor ding on the left back passenger door and one on the upper hood. They're hardly noticeable but I've done my best to show them in the pictures. Some minor nicks on front from regular road debris I would assume. Interior shows minimal use. There is one small mark on the driver's seat bottom and slightly worn along the edge. a little discoloration. very minor. Again. see pics. The wood on the console shows just a bit of what must be sun damage to the clear finish on the top edge. Again. very minor. A few of the rubber buttons/ash tray have a bit of the "sticky rubber" syndrome common to these and pretty much all Italian cars. It does not effect the button functions at all. Mechanical - The car runs and drives like a dream whether you're tearing it up in SPORT mode or just cruising around in AUTO mode. The engine sounds fantastic. The trunk has an automatic release button on the dash console and the key fob. When you press the button to open the trunk. you can hear the trunk unlatch but it doesn't just pop open unless you slightly lift it with your hand to help it up. Only a very minor inconvenience that you have to be at the trunk to lift it open. which is where you have to be to get anything out of it anyway. You can also open it manually with the key without any problem. I've taken it to the dealer and they installed new trunk struts but problem didn't get solved. Another problem is after you drive for a few miles and the tires warm up. the tire pressure sensor light beeps two times and then goes away. I haven't had a chance to get new tire sensors but it didn't even effect passing the Maryland State safety inspection (which is VERY strict). It does not effect the function of the car at all and you can purchase a set of TPS for about $140. The mechanic at the dealership told me any tire shop can put them in. This is a very easy fix and you don't have to go to the dealership for this. Also. I hear alot people talk about the clutch on these cars. I have never had it looked at by the dealer because I have never had a mechanical issue with the car at all. I drive this car 3-4 times per week and the clutch feels. shifts. and works fine. So for the record. I do not now or ever have had any issues with the clutch in this car. That's the best I can do on that one. General info - It has NEW: Custom "Maserati" Floor Mats and Battery. I also purchased the Maserati Radio Code. so if you ever have to remove the battery or reset the dashboard functions. you don't have to pay $600 for a new code ( I already bought it). It has a built-in CD disc-type navigation system but I don't have any CD's for it. They have CD's for each region of the country (ie: northeast US. mid-west US. west coast US. etc. ) It never came with one and I didn't see the need of spending the money because I just use my phone to navigate. It also has a built-in radar detector and I'm sure it works but I've never used it. Now The Good Stuff - There's nothing like the sight and sound of a beautiful Italian body style wrapped around an F1 Ferrari engine. This fantastic automobile is sleek. unique. fast. and more fast. I'm not saying anyone should ever go over the speed limit but who are we kidding here. This is a Maserati. (True story). It's has a 6 gear duo-select transmission. When I first bought it. nbsp;I was cruising around (normally) and couldn't find the 6th gear. So I take it out on the highway and I'm up to 110. Still no 6th. When I hit 120. the Maz hooked 6th gear and shot me to 140 in about 3 seconds. Now I've owned fast cars before (Trans Am. Camaro. Stangs) and when you hit the top gear they drop down low and punch their way through the air like a locomotive. This Maz just gave a slight kick and I felt like I was getting "pulled on a clear sheet of ice" . There was no buffeting or movement at all. It just glided to 140 without an ounce of effort. It was amazing. After I shut it down. I had to pull over with an adrenalin rush and just smile. I was in total awe. (True story). This car was made to be driven. It runs. shifts. and drives beautifully. You don't see these cars everywhere. The body style is gorgeous and timeless and this car turns heads everywhere I go. These cars represent one of the best bangs for the buck presently. No other car has these qualities. at $100. 00+ when new. at about a quarter of that now.
