1969 Mustang Convertible - Absolute Mint Condition

You are viewing my 1969 mustang convertible that I just wanted to start off saying. I've owned over 100 mustang over the past 30 years and I have to say this is the most rust free convertible. I've ever had. The floors. torque boxes. shock towers are perfect. body panels are super straight and rust free. view the pictures and see. I bought this mustang w/ plans on making it a full out restomod. but plans change. Let me tell you how far I got. All body panels were stripped. prepped and painted at my shop. The color is a between Acapulco blue and Gulf Stream Aqua. It is gorgeous and always gets complements. All chrome and trim has been replaced. stainless trim was removed and polished. I even installed a very rare chrome face grill which was an odd ball dealer option. Interior was completely removed and restored. The instrument panel. dash. dash cap. carpets and deluxe interior white seat covers ( not installed at time of pictures) were installed. The floors were cleaned and treated w/ corrosion inhibitor and covered w/ Dynamat. The convertible top frame was overhauled. including new top. new hyd. pump. lines and weather stripping. I even decided to install a rare moto-lita steering wheel I've had for years. Suspension was overhauled as well with all new control arms. ball joints. bushings and a 1" sway bar added. The rear differential is a 8" which I installed a 3:50 traction lock. new axel bearings. all new brakes and master cylinder. Wheels are polished American Racing torque thrust 2’s 17x7. Tires are 245/55/17. Hankook’s 1 noble. The Drivetrain was overhauled as well. The 250 6 cylinder was rebuilt. carb rebuilt and a new 3 core aluminum radiator was installed. nbsp; The flywheel was resurfaced. new clutch assembly and a rebuilt 5 speed transmission YES. 5 speed. This car runs and drives beautiful with plenty of bottom end and cruises at 70 mph @ 1600 rpm There are a few things I didn't get to finish. I've purchased the following items but did not install them. Bergeron power steering system (steering box. pump bracket and lines) Ididit tilt steering column w/ coupler. Modern Driveline hydraulic clutch kit and a 13" cobra front disc brake set. All items listed above are available and will be included if the "Buy it Now" price.
