I am selling my 2011 Think City. This vehicle is 100% electric; it was assembled in Elkhart. Indiana. and the batteries were manufactured in Noblesville. Indiana. It has 28k miles on it. So a quick note. I had to tell ebay that this was a 1980 car. because they aren't recognizing the VIN. and a "valid vin" is required for all cars 1981 or newer. The VIN is real. the car is real. and my insurance company accepted it. for some reason ebay will not accept the VIN. VIN is: 53TVH2MC1BE900037This is a wonderfully amazing car. Really. I love it. Absolutely no problems with it. The only problem is that its a 2-seater. and I have six kids. Really. Its just gotten to be unmanageable. Batteries and battery electronics are still under warranty. for another year. The batteries perform like the day I took delivery: they are lithium ion. and they go up to 100 miles per charge. I live 15 miles from work; in spring/summer/fall. I can go back and forth three times before needing a charge; in the winter. its two times. I've had very few problems with the car; problems have been circuit board problems. relatively cheap fixes. There's no engine. so not much can go wrong! No oil changes. and the electric motor will basically live forever. The batteries are expected to last with full capabilities or very very close for 10 years. and even after that. will still have significant life. They will have residual value at that point. or could continue to be used. Top speed is 74mph. and this car accelerates as swiftly as a Honda Civic or equivalent. It won't leave you hanging. It also corners like a dream. since all the weight is in the center. There's actually tons of room in this car. You can fit two sets of golf clubs behind the seats. or a full family's groceries (I would know). You can even buy a back seat for this thing. but let's face it. That would be laughable. So lets do some math: if you put 10. 00 miles on this car per year for six years. and gas prices are $2. 50. and you are replacing a car that gets 20 miles per gallon. You will save $850 per year on fuel (you will spend $400 to charge it up. and you will save $1250 on gas). You will also save $60 on oil changes. Total yearly savings: $910. After six years. you will have saved $5400. on a car that you paid $9650 for. And that's IF gas prices stay at $2. 50. Also included with purchase are two vehicle chargers. You will get a 120 volt charger that plugs into a standard wall outlet. and does a 100% charge in 14 hours; and you will get a 220 volt charger (pictured) that will need to be wired. and it does a 100% charge in 8 hours. The 120volt charger has a street value of $150. and the 220 volt charger has a street value of $1k plus. I know. You should be thanking me. But its okay. Buy the car and we will call it even. Thanks!
