Description

Here is the opportunity of a lifetime……. For sale is an ALL ORIGINAL. unmolested survivor. 1926 Packard Sedan limousine. This car has NEVER been modified in any way since it left Detroit 87 years ago! It is STILL on its ORIGINAL plates from Vermont! I have been advised by a Packard expert that there are likely very few of this particular model left on the road anywhere! This particular car runs and drives great! My kids love to take rides in it around the neighborhood. I purchased this car from the elderly grandson of the ORIGINAL owner in Vermont where it lived its entire life until bringing it to Tampa. FL 10 years ago. As much as I do not want to let her go; unfortunately my current situation dictates doing so. About the car: This car is as honest of a classic as it gets. It is in remarkable condition considering its age. However it is not by any means cosmetically “perfect”. Please look the pictures in order to get a true sense for the car. This Packard has ALWAYS been garaged in Vermont and Florida. There are a few spots where moths got at the upholstery. but aside from one location in the back seat these are minimalThe lacquer paint shows crazing all around and is cracking on the two front fenders. This is the worst cosmetic feature on the car. There is nothing more than some minor surface rust only on the underside anywhere. There are NO rust through spots whatsoever. This car is SOLID!This would be the perfect candidate for an easy restoration. but I would HIGHLY recommend against that. They’re only original once! The speedometer is missing from the photographs. but I do have it. It needs to be rebuilt. The Amperage & Oil Pressure gauges work! The following maintenance has been done to the car since I’ve owned it: The engine was disassembled. cleaned thoroughly and verified to be healthy enough for driving. New gaskets installed etc…In line fuel filter added for protection. Carburetor rebuilt Fuel Vacuum unit cleanedOil changed Radiator FlushedCoil rebuilt No shortage of funds have been spent on anything that this car needed. Tires are great and have plenty of life left on them. The classic old horn even works! I’ve even got the luggage rack for the running boards! 100% CLEAR Florida Title for this beauty! How many opportunities are there to possess such a timeless original piece of Automotive - American history? This Packard deserves a great home which will preserve its originality and heritage. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. I am also happy to show the car to anyone that would like to see it. There are no secrets. games or other BS. Bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating on EBay dating back quite a long time. Thank you for looking & Good Luck!
