On Apr-29-15 at 18:56:12 PDT. seller added the following information:Some frequently asked questions:Q: Do you have the Certificate of Title ?A: Of course! Q: How much was this car driven ?A: Almost none. After being built. it was carefully put into storage. where it sat for the last several years. We took it out every season. warmed up the engine. drove it around the property. then put her back to sleep. It never came into contact with salty roads. etc. Q: Does it come with the original engine and manual transmission ?A: NO! As stated in the listing. this is a customized Coupe Express. with a V8 and an automatic transmission. Q: What's with the seats + steering wheel ?A: The seats and the steering wheel are not from original Coupe Express. This too is stated in the listing and shown in the photos. Q: Any other issues. like mechanical. besides the exhaust system not being finished and the crack in the driver's side windshield ?A: To the best of our knowledge. and the limited drive/engine observations. the answer is no. However. we make no guarantees. Remember. it sat mainly in storage with small drives. It never saw any highway-speeds action. Q: Where is this car located ?A: In South Bend. IndianaOn Apr-30-15 at 08:20:55 PDT. seller added the following information:Q: Is the paint job 100% perfect ?A: I'd say about 98% perfect. there were a few minor areas of blemishes/scratches where the hood closes down against the rim of the engine bay. These areas were touched up. Q: Is the brake and suspension original to 1937 ?A: NO. The front two wheels have rotors/calipers with standard coil springs and the rear wheels have drum/shoe brakes with standard leaf springsOn Apr-30-15 at 09:23:47 PDT. seller added the following information:Q: Any paint blemishes/scratches?A: There is a paint blemish on the driver's side fender (see photos) and a small scratch on the top of the tailgate (see photos)On Apr-30-15 at 20:19:10 PDT. seller added the following information:Q: How does this Vehicle drive on the roads. how does it handle ? Any issues ?A: Many other cars built in the family have been driven on the roads. including highways. without problems. However. this particular build. this 1937 Coupe Express Customized project. did not travel farther than our mailbox. This 1937 project was built with the same care and attention to details as previous vehicles. BUT. it was mainly driven around the property and operated for 15-25 minutes every season. Again. as mentioned before. it mainly sat in storage. With that being said. we do not know. nor imply. how this Vehicle will drive for long periods on the roads and/or highways. We make no claims nor guarantees about the operational capability of this Vehicle. Q: Is it a 6-Volt or 12-Volt Generator/Alternator ?A: It is a 12-Volt Alternator system. with brand new alternator + brand new wiring throughout. Q: Does the instrumentation (gauges) work ?A: Yes! Coolant temperature. Ammeter. Oil Pressure all work. Since the Vehicle was not driven on the roads/highways. I cannot say for sure how accurate/well the speedometer works. I wouldn't trust that fuel gauge 110% (who does?)Q: How cramped is it with that V8 inside the 1937 engine compartment ?A: It's not that cramped. it is manageable. Oil dipstick and transmission dipstick is easily reachable and removable. including the spark plugs. distributor. etc. Q: Does it have windshield defroster ?A: No. It has main cabin heater via blower motor/climatizer. The dashboard area had to be customized because we fitted this new. later-model Studebaker climatizer under the dash. Q: 1937 Coupe Express parts are somewhat rare. do you have any spare parts ?A: Yes and the Buyer will be given all spare/additional parts that are currently in our possession. On May-01-15 at 15:27:22 PDT. seller added the following information:Q: Is the headliner and seats also burgundy/red ?A: No. As shown in the pictures. the seats are grey and the headliner is also grey. The dash area and flooring is burgundy/red. Q: What are the dimensions of this Vehicle (for trailer. hauling purposes) ?A: 196 inches (16 ft 4in) in length from bumper to bumper. 7 ft in width. 69 inches (5ft 9 in) in height.
