1972 Triumph Spitfire Mark IV This is a REAL GARAGE FIND! ALL ORIGINAL (unrestored) classic that runs and drives Great & Gets Lots of Attention!I recently acquired this car from the estate of an 86 year old man that kept it garaged with a car cover on it for the last 42 years. I bought it from the daughter of a man that owned it for 42 years (he passed away last October and she got the car in the will). he bought the car in 1974. Odometer is showing 44. 00 miles. She told me she believed the mileage was accurate and original but she couldn't say for sure. After driving the car a bit. I realized the odometer had stopped working (strange because the speedometer works fine). so exact mileage is unknown. She also told me that her father kept the car in his garage with a cover on it most of the time and that he was very meticulous with his cars. I removed the seat covers to find that the original seats are almost perfect. just a few small cracks. There are a couple cracks in the dashpad (underneath the dash mat)I was told the paint is original (I cannot confirm this)Brand New - Weber Carburetor & Manifold. Master Cylinder. Interstate Battery. Front End Bushings & Tie Rod EndsTop Goes Up & Down as it Should. Has a couple very small tears in the top. Tires are good with lots of tread and no dry rot. Clutch & Brakes are working as they should. No wiring issues. all gauges work (except odometer)NOTE: The car is 43 years old and unrestored (not a trailer queen). it has various bumps and bruises. the carpet is worn. etc. . view pictures closely. Overall a very nice "driver quality" classic that you can jump in and cruise!Recently passed AZ Emissions test (paperwork included)This car comes with the following: RARE COCKPIT COVER (couple small tears)Boot for the Top (like new)Original Spare Tire & JackOriginal Owners ManualWorkshop ManualStack of ReceiptsOriginal Carb & Manifold2 Sets of KeysCar CoverBox of misc. extras for the carOriginal Identification Plate in ManualClean.
