Just to clarify again. this is not a Custom Eight. It is a Super Deluxe Eight with the 327. Here is a statement I found off the internet. 1949-1950 Packard Super Deluxe Eight was the reason why Custom Super Eight sales dropped. The Super Shared the Grill Style and the Wheel base of the costlier custom. The Customs were Not as richly trimmed as the Super Deluxes. The Super Deluxes 327 was just as smooth as the 356.
