I rebuilt this Scout between 2009 and 2011. Totally disassembled, and blasted, ainted, nd reassembled. The engine, rom a 1979 Scout, as rebuilt in 2004 and stored away until this build. I wanted a Scout that would keep all the original things that you recognize as a Scout 80, ut I wanted it to be safe to operate on any highway. The frame and running gear of a Scout II have been combined with the body of a Scout 80. So now it has power steering, ower brakes, ana 44's instead of Dana 30 - and disk breaks up front. Took the braking system one step farther and replaced the vacuum booster with a hydraulic system. It comes with the original owner's manual and some of the line set ticket. This Scout is roadworthy, afe and fun to drive, nd, n my humble opinion looks the way a Scout80 should look. This is a clean rust free Scout. It is a joy riding around and watching the smiles as people remember their own Scout experiences. Please call and discuss. The Scout is located in Lakewood Colorado. Some of things done are listed below but please look at the YouTube I have on the net.

The mileage of 73430 is meaningless as everything has been rebuilt. There is probable about a couple thousand miles run on this Scout. You don't need a trailer to haul this home. Bring a drivers license and drive home.
I will give my phone number to whoever buys this Scout. I have wrenched ever screw, bolt and nut on this Scout and am willing to answer any questions that person might have..
Notice in the pictures the spare fuel, temp, amp, oil gauge. The one that is is Scout is not wired for temp, amp, oil. I have seperate gauges also pictured that are totally functional or those readings. The wires are in place to from original gauge to the senders but wiring not complete. You don't have to change anything but you will have a spare gauge. I also have a spare heater core.
The "role bar" pictured is does not function as a true role bar as it is not welded to the frame but acts as a secure anchor point for the shoulder harness. The role bars base's have metal plates under the body for reinforcement.
