Bought new in 1959 by my friend Chris’s Grandfather

at Tom Grace Fiat in San Rafael CA. The car was then given to Chris’s uncle in the late 60’s. His uncle put the car in a garage where it sat for over 40 years. The car then became Chris’s inheritance about three years ago. He took it to a mechanic who cleaned the gas tank, ebuilt the carburetor and changed the fuel pump to an electric one. (which was always the fiat’s biggest problem) He then sent away for a new upholstery kit and had an upholstery shop re-do everything.

Garage kept all its life in California. Zero rust anywhere.

None in the floor pans, one under the spare tire, one anywhere

This car starts, uns, tops, nd shifts beautifully.

I contacted a few vintage Fiat experts about having the car painted and was advised not to. The body is all original, o rust no body work, ll gaps line up perfect and anyone can see the perfect original condition before painting it or they may want to keep it with it’s original patina look.

Chris gave me the car as partial payment for a Real Estate transaction. I have a clear California Title signed off and name of the new buyer is blank.

I am told the car could bring about $12,000 from the right collector but I would sell it now for $10,500 or a reasonable offer. I may also consider trades.

The car is located in Walnut, A. (far eastern part of Los Angeles county) It is available anytime for inspection or test drive.
