New INFO on this Rare Avanti

I thought it was “Odd” that when I did a Car Fax binging this is a 1987 Avanti and it was first time registered in 1989????

I contacted the “Avanti Research Services” to see if they could shed some light into this Mystery....

They had the Build Sheet and Two Invoices....All other Avantis only have One Invoice.

One of the Invoices shows this going to a Avanti Dealer in California and used as a Avanti Reps Car for Demo use and Shows to Show Case the New Avanti....

That is why this Avanti is Loaded with Options and also the “Extra Charge” for the Rare Leather Interior Option...Most Avanti's have Vinyl Seats

This makes this Avanti even more Rare...And the Paper Work to back it up...

This is a 1987 Avanti based off the Avanti Studebaker way back in 1963

This car has the Looks of the 1963 but Runs and Drives so much Smoother and More Reliable

This Avanti is a lot easier to get Mechanical parts for than the 1963 Avanti Studebaker also.

This is a Very Rare Michael Kelly Produced Avanti.
Michael Kelly Started the New Avanti Motor Corporation from 1986 to 1988
No 1986 Cars were Produced
It is one of 91 Avanti Coupes produced in 1987.
