The Porsche 944 made Car and Driver's "10 Best Cars" list in 1983, nd with good reason. They praised its handling, oadholding and nimbleness, aying "It is a car with greatness stamped all over it..."

Based on the 924, he 944 is a more refined car offering better handling and stopping power, more comfortable drive - and its faster. With a near perfect front-to-rear weight balance, his Porsche is really fun to drive, nd especially so with the 5 speed manual that's in this car. Today, he 944 is a collectible that can also be enjoyed and driven daily.

The radio has been updated and the wheels are from Porsche, ut we do not know if they are original to this car. Everything else looks to be original. This car has just 57,353 original miles on it. All this 944 needs is a new driver.

The exterior is in excellent shape. There are no notable dents or dings, nd the paint shines all around.

The Carfax vehicle history report is clean, showing no accident history or any other problems. You can see the Carfax at the end of the photo gallery. (Carfax goes back to 1999 and shows registration only in Florida)

Exterior features include a rear spoiler integrated into the hatch, quot;phone dial" alloy wheels and flip-up headlights. There is also a manual sunroof.

The interior is also in excellent condition. There are no rips, holes or tears in the leather seats.

The rear seat is also very nice. It can be folded down if you need extra cargo space.

Features include power windows and a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo.

The 2.5 liter motor was a big improvement over the one used in the previous model. This is a Porsche-built power plant. The engine is essentially half of the 928's V8. The one in this car starts right up and runs great.

There is no rust on the body, nd no rot under the car...

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS unless otherwise noted. Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, nd in some cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, hich could be delayed up to 15 days.

As we are located In Florida, e are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer.

We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. All vehicles are for sale to the public, so we reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold locally. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back.

Payment and Fees

We will add a $250 dealer fee to the final price.

You may pay the purchase price in cash in person, ith a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. Paypal will be accepted for the deposit only. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, lease do not bid. Final payment is expected within 48 hours.

If you are a Florida resident, ou will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, ou will be required to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost, ncluding registration fees, nspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.

If you are seeking financing, lease be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding.
