1963 AC Shelby Cobra CSX2047 One of 75 early 2000 series Cobra's fitted with a 260 V8 casting number C20E 6015J. Owned by current collector since 1973 this vehicle was stripped to bare metal and obtained a beautiful red with white stripes repaint in 2001. Beautiful black interior looks great showing very little wear. Extensive work done to the motor and transmission in 1977 with documents showing detailed work (see pictures). The 5 digit odometer shows 33. 16 but the current owner bought this car with 60. 00 miles in 1973. In 1993 the battery. radiator and hoses were replaced with new as well as the carburetor being rebuilt. This car has been in a climate controlled showroom since 1973 in Los Gatos. California. On December 16th. 2014. all fluid levels were checked. topped off. fresh gas put in and the battery was charged. The vehicle started right up.
