This particular Cobra was sold new here at Park Place LTD in 2008. and it has been sparingly driven since by just one owner. It is titled as a 1965 Ford Cobra. When it comes to Shelby Cobra re-creations. it doesn't get any better than Superformance. All Superformance Cobras feature a hand-laid fiberglass body that is outfitted to re-create the iconic 427 roadsters down to the most miniscule detail. This example was custom ordered in Lotus Chrome Orange Metallic with black LeMans racing stripes. creating an exotic. yet recognizable. look. To back up the hot-looking paint. it was ordered with a high-performance 550hp Roush 427R small-block V8. The 427R small block was professionally built by Roush before being installed in this Cobra. Performance features include a massive 4BBL Holley carburetor. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. ported aluminum Roush heads. forged pistons. H-beam rods. roller cam. hydraulic lifter. MSD ignition and Roush wiring. Ceramic coated headers & side-pipes provide a killer ground-pounding soundtrack that commands attention as much as the Chrome Orange paint. To handle the power. the engine has been fitted with a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission with carbon synchros and shatterproof bellhousing. Other features include leather vintage-style racing bucket seats. a Shelby-style wood rim steering wheel.
