I purchased this car at an auction for surplus equipment from Fresno State University. The story I was told was that it was purchased for use by the President of the university but "someone ran into something" right after it was purchased and the car wouldn’t run. Nobody ever knew who the driver was. Since FSU is self-insured and they didn’t know what the extent of the damage was, he car just sat in the yard since the accident. The rear seat bench and passenger side bucket seat were swapped out for older torn parts as was the rear fender spat and the passenger side mirror and the hand brake sensor switch. When I got the car home, found that the impact had hit the steel housing of the motor and cleanly snapped the aluminum differential/gearbox housing. The motor only had a few scratches on it. I replaced the gearbox hood, ear fender spat and re-upholstered the seats. The batteries charge up just fine but are the originals from 2013. I think this car, urrent model with these features would price out over $16,000. I might consider delivering this vehicle in Central California.
I have clear title, alif DMV pink slip in hand.In the picture of the rear fender/spat. There is a plate in the center, hen removed lets you see the top of two of the batteries. I neglected to order this one piece so one side is green from the fenders that were on the vehicle and one side is black but unpainted. I've got the black side up, ust to let you know if you wanted a totally matching rear spat, his is something you'd have to have painted or buy.I included the last photo of the back of the right front wheel to show how clean this car is.On Jun-03-15 at 21:35:42 PDT, eller added the following information:I purchased this car at an auction for surplus equipment from Fresno State University.
