My son and I have decided it is time to sell our toys. I am getting too old to be out in the garage and I promised him if he helped me sell he could use the money to go to college.
My dad finally decided to sell one of the most unique cars ever made. It is said that there were only 3,878 Amphicars ever made. This is one of them. This boat car was absolutelycherishedby my Dads good buddy, ho he got it from. We took it in the lake this morning for one last time and I will forever remember riding in an Amphicar. It is hard to explain how hilarious it is to drive this car right down to the boat launch and drive directly into the water. People get so excited to see this car go swimming. It will be truely missed.
The Amphi was restored years back. It is in great shape and will make someone very happy. It is believed to only have 26,000 original miles. Mileage is exempt due to age. The paint really shines and is great to display at a local car show. The engine is the numbers matching Triumph 1147cc OHV, ith a 4 speed manual transmission. The seats, op and interior panels all look wonderful.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would love to show the 770 to anyone. You won't bedisappointed!
Thank you!
