Up for Auction is my 1964 Studebaker Cruiser Sedan. I found the car locally here is Roseburg Oregon. The older gentleman who owned it prior to me was an avid Studebaker collector. He had the car for about three decades and kept it in pristine condition but, ue to age and health issues had allowed the car to sit inside the garage for over a decade. As a resul,t several issues had to be resolved relating to the lack of use. This included a complete valve job and inspection of the bottom end of the engine. He had informed me he rebuilt the entire engine about ten thousand miles ago but had no supporting documentation. Since the engine work the compression on all eight cylinders range within 10 pounds of each other averaging 175 psi. The fuel system was completely restored including new fuel pump, uel tank boiled out, arburetor rebuilt and all new soft lines with two in-line filters. Transmission was removed and both front and rear main seals were replaced. Additionally a new transmission filter and pan gasket was installed with new tranny fluid with a quart of Lucas. The entire brake system was renewed with new hard lines, oft lines and rear wheel cylinders. The old brake fluid was flushed and new replaced the old. As a result the car is running excellent. It starts every time with a turn of the key and no throttle necessary to start. It shifts well and drives down the road like a dream. All the gauges and electrics work as new. The interior is immaculate from the headliner down to the carpet. It is completely free of rust. The tires are like new bias ply white walls. The radio is the factory AM/FM unit and works as new but the speaker is a little old. This car has less than 78000 miles total on the original drive train and chassis. I believe the car could be used as a reliable daily driver or take it out to show and shines and show it off with pride. I get tons of thumbs ups whenever I take it out. Thank you very very much for looking and I am available to answer any questions you may have prior to bidding.
