An early example in excellent overall condition
Sadly, am parting with my restored and well cared for TR-3A TS81398LO. This car was originally purchased as a frame off restoration in 1996. I completed all upgrades myself by 2010 and have been driving and enjoying the car ever since. Upgrades include a rebuilt TR-3B motor with overdrive transmission; rebuilt generator, adiator, uel pump, nd SU H6 carbs; a rust-free tub with new lever shocks and springs, resh brakes along with brake and fuel lines; fuel tank and fuel sending unit. The interior has new black leather seat covers with rebuilt seat pans and newish rugs. The dashboard and glovebox have been rebuilt and recovered; the gauges have all been rebuilt and include a new single key lockset. The wiring harness is new with a new voltage regulator, ebuilt horns, iper and heater motors. Included is a new top, onneau and hood stick cover. This car has been an inspired restoration for me and since I have 4 British sports cars, t shares summer driving duties with the others. They are all “pampered” and it’s time for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. This is not quite a concours car but is a clean and solid summer classic. There are 3 coats of signal red paint that are starting to show some age, ut can easily be brought back. The chrome wire wheels and bumpers are all in excellent shape but could do with some “spit and polish”. The car has rarely seen rain and the side curtains were never of interest to me. I have the frames and chromed door receivers, ut never installed them. I have kept an extensive written and photographic record of everything I did to the car since in my possession.
