1974 Triumph TR6 Original Survivor with 41,192 miles

Up for sale is a 1974 Triumph TR6 roadster with 41,192 original miles. The car was built in March 1974 (Vin # CF 19941 U). This car is bone stock original in every way. It still wears its original Mallard Green paint and Saddle interior. This car has retained its original engine and 4 speed gearbox. This TR6 was purchased from its second owner several years ago who owned it for over 30 years. It was always garaged and never used in bad weather. All factory body tags and engine bay stickers are intact. The battery, ires and brake pads were the only things ever changed on this car. It needs nothing.

It runs and drives great. Everything works as it should. There is no major rust anywhere underneath on the frame or in the fenders, loors, oors or rocker panels. There is only some light surface rust under the floors. It’s never been in an accident and has no bondo on it whatsoever. The car starts right up and idles at a steady 600 rpm all day long. Oil pressure is strong and has great acceleration. The gearbox is quiet and responsive and no clunks when put in reverse. The car sounds and feels just right and is pretty tight. Brakes are good, xhaust and clutch are all in good working order and it can run forever. It’s a dependable daily driver or a weekend cruiser. It basically needs nothing for a long trip.

Paint is original and looks a bit tired and faded but that is what makes this car an original survivor!!!. It has a ding here and there and there are a few scratches and a very small dent in the lower part of the passenger door when the seat belt was closed in the door but that is about it. All gauges and electricals works fine. Tires are brand new and have less than 200 miles on them. Paint can be buffed out and polished.
