Offered for sale, rom KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, s this very decent and original 3000 MK 3 BJ-8 Phase 2 Convertible. This car was recently purchased from it’s previous owner who last used the car a few years ago. The undercarriage pictures shows some areas for metal repair here and there in several places. The body overall is very good with nice gaps, ut the car has sustained a little bit of repairable damage to the LH rear and front fenders. The cosmetics are driver level and the paint is lifting in few areas. The grille fits very well, he tires are in great shape. The interior trim looks highly original with the replacement of carpets.
This car start heathily on the button with no grey smoke or strange noises. It runs and drives very well with a strong engine, reat gearbox with working overdrive unit. The car would greatly benefit from a new set of tires and shock absorbers since it has been sitting for a few years.
All gauges function and work correctly with good readings on oil pressure and temperature. The tachometer registers a little high.
Overall, decent original BJ-8 in great colors, unning and driving well, ith little cosmetic improvements needed to make it an enjoyable car or simply use it as is.
