1988 TVR S1

I imported this car from Jersey in the Channel Islands earlier this year. It is a really strong driver but shows its age: it is a patinated 80s sports car and the frame has rust and will need work in the next few years to the outriggers. Clutch issue arose recently and I had the slave replaced last week but still needs the pedal pressed on some gears to get hydraulic pressure: needs either bleeding or perhaps new master. The car can be looked at in Traverse City, ichigan. Although it is fully titled and registered in Michigan, he state hasn't sent me the title document yet (new title builds are sent to state capital for individual review) so it will be sold on bill of sale with warranties around import compliance (it was done properly through a customs broker).

All issues known: Shroud around steering column not there. Lots of paints chips. Some grazing and fraying around roof material. No material on inside of fibre glass roof panels. One stud on the 8 studs across two roof panels is rusting; fiddly to get roof on, ut once you know it's easy. Clutch pressure in lower gears needs built up to release clutch (note: clutch slave replaced last week along with "transmission service" (i think just a fluid change) so may need master changed or may just need bleeding. Chips off edge of indicator light lenses. Crazing on hood/bonnet. No knobs on the heater controls, hough original cover panel still there. Heater matrix/core out of vehicle and bypassed: dash does not need to come out to reinstall but core needs repair or replace. Rusting on frame. Internal / dash panel lights don't work. You may see rusty water deposits around radiator filler in pics: the murky chocolatey "coolant" it arrived with was all flushed out back in June as previous owner must have just used water. All gauges work and the pressure and temperature stay at the marked levels. Solid driver but not a princess by any means.
