Auburn style one of a kind, based on 1981 Corvette running gear

You are bidding on a one and only custom built automobile that was constructed by a professional car builder. He started with a complete 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with the 350 V8 and automatic transmission. He removed the fiberglass front end from the windshield forward and the fiberglass rear end from the rear door frame to the rear. He then designed and built in fiberglass, ll new front and rear sections, hat gives the car a look like it came from the 30's. A portion of the rear pops up to reveal a folding convertible top that is very easy to put up by hand. It is the original Corvette cloth top! The car has 6 way power drivers seat, ir-conditioning, ower windows, ower steering, ower brakes and AM/FM radio. The wheels are "real" knock off wires and the tires have 90% of the tread left. Of course the car drives just like a 1981 Corvette 350 V8 with automatic transmission. This is the only one ever built, nd the quality of the fiberglass work and paint is top notch. This beautiful automobile was in a museum for a number of years, ut is now back out on the street. It has a current Arizona license and registration that is good through August of 2018. It has a couple of small items that need attention, uch as a needing a new shift lever boot and the air conditioning compressor replaced, ut other than that is completely ready to drive and enjoy. I am selling this for a friend who inherited it from his father, ho purchased it from the museum, ut he has no room for it in his garage and would like to see someone else driving it and enjoying the questions they will getting about it.
