Grumman Kubvan Stepvan VW Volkwagen 1984

Ok well here is another project that it looks like I won't have the energy or enthusiasm to finish. PLEASE LOOK AROUND ON THE INTERNET AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THIS BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. This is a running project with endless possibilities. I have for auction a 1984 Grumman Kubvan. Chances are if you are looking at this auction you already know what this cute little thing is. Grumman used the complete drivetrain from a VW Rabbit on these so it has a Rabbit engine. trans. brakes. suspension. etcThe possibilities for modifying these little trucks is endless. Anything from gas to diesel to big 2. 0 turbo to anything else you can imagine transverse mounted Volkswagen wise just jumps right in this thing. Suspension possibilities are crazy too. All of the suspension mounting points on this are aluminum so everything is solid. metal parts underneath are surface rusty as this thing is 31 years old. The body on this thing is ALL ALUMINUM. I have had many people ask why the Right front fender is shiney it is because I polished it for a minute to see if it would shine. As far as I can tell all panels are original on this truck. This particular truck currently has an 1800cc carbureted gas Rabbit/Golf engine in it that runs good. It has an automatic Rabbit 3 speed transmission that works good. None of the dash gauges work at this time. but are all there. All of the lights work on the the truck so it is street legal in Ohio. The truck is running and driving at this time but needs love. I got it from a mailman that was driving it daily as is. Needs rear shocks fitted right now. The engine area on this is ugly and needs detailed/tidied up. THIS IS NOT A SHOW VEHICLE. It has lots of promise though. The wheels on the truck are Panasport wheels that need the centers bored to be hubcentric. but wheel possibilities are endless as well. Any 4x100 fwd wheel should jump right on this. I also have the missing air flapper that goes on the right side (the blue area on the right side). Do a google search and see all the crazy things people have done with these trucksI have a clear Ohio title in my name for this truck. VIN DPS99ASVE52138499 Mileage on title shows 104k which I believe is not the actual mileage. If shipping I will help load it on the truck. but buyer must make all arrangements and pay all costs involved with shipping it. will not leave here till all funds have cleared my account.
