You won't see one of these everyday! 1936 Hudson Terraplane 2 person coupe with suicide doors. This car has been in Newark. nbsp;Ohio since New! It was discovered a couple of years ago sitting in the same garage that housed it since 1936 and until that point it had not been moved since 1958!! The grandson of the original owner pulled it out and discarded the original engine and trans. He then sold the car. The second registered. (3rd total) owner installed a great running 302 Ford V-8 equipped with 2- 4 bbl carbs. . FMX automatic trans and 8" Ford rear axle. New dual circuit master cylinder. brake lines. fuel lines were installed. The original front axle and drum brakes are still in place. The original steering column. dash cluster and steering wheel are being used as well. all new glass and rubber seals have been installed. The wiring has been updated and all the lights are working. Mechanical gauges below the dash now monitor the engine vitals. He drove the car a couple of hundred miles before parking it a couple of years ago. He also removed the original front seat and added the very nice but somewhat chunky Leather front seats. ( I'd preferred the original but its gone). The car is still wearing its original paint. Yes its in poor condition and it does have some rust through in the body and front fenders But what a cool old car. This car is a drivable project as is and is ready for you to finish. You could build a period style Gasser very easily. If it doesn't sell I may just finish it for the Goodguys Nationals in Columbus this year. call Phil for more details. 1-740-745-1147
