Geo Prizm (Toyota Corolla)

This Geo is a very clean sedan with really low mileage. This rare toyota and chevy collaboration in the 90's, s very much like a replica of the fuel efficient and reliable corolla of its' day.
Given its birth-year in 1995, hat makes this car 21 years old, nd it didn't get through all these years without a few bruises and bumps along the way. The paint is peeling from a light sunburn, ut the sheet metal is healthy. It has 4 prior owners, couple of which had an accident which caused the need for a rebuilt/reconstructed title. To my knowledge this vehicle had its' engine replaced back in 2001 when the first major accident happened, ith a replacement with fewer miles. The original engine was an LSI based on research into its history, 'm unsure of whether the replacement engine was also an LSI, will investigate that hopefully before auction end. Based on driving this for a few hours I've discovered it to be a really strong engine, nd it produces the power to cruise at highway speeds without any delay or feeling of strain. Not only that but, his is a really cost efficient car to keep running and inspected too. Since I've owned it, haven't raised it up to check for the location and cause of the exhaust leak sound. It sounds to be coming from the forward manifold and creates a slight bit of vibration while it idles from a cold start. Tires are in good shape. I was told by previous owner that the gas tank, hen filled over half full, eleases a scent of gas if parked in enclosed areas for extended periods of time. I park it outside and haven't noticed any scents. The thing that most impresses me about this car is that the transmission shifting. Going from 1 to 2nd gear is smoother than any luxury car I've ever been in. This vehicle is still driving after all these years because of continued maintenance and a love to keep a great car going.
