1958 Chevrolet Bel Air Base Sedan 4-Door

For sale is my 1958 Chevy Bel Air.. I have been driving her for the past three years.. It has a 283 2bbl with the original 2 speed automatic transmission . The motor runs good and transmission shifts smooth and still rolling strong!. The front brakes have been upgraded to disc with a booster. Gas tank has been replaced as well as the sending unit..Gauges work except for the speedometer ( cable broke ) but comes with a new cable. The tires are 15 s " to fit the new brake kit" and are in good shape. I bought an original radio for this year that goes with it. New starter switch with matching door keys.. The paint is old and the clear coat is pealing but still takes a good picture... I love the ways she looks and wouldnt change her.. Love the age and "patina" as they say on American Pickers LOL.. This car is on the road and still driven. The interior is old and shows her age.. Door panels need to be updated or replaced.. Carpet was taken out to be replaced.. Floors are in good shape.. In the area stop by and look!! She is for sale locally as well..
Known issues : the engine has a little blow by. told the front n rear seals leak on the engine ( she's 58 years old ) drivers side door glass was cracked when a local buyer slammed the door

Hi again, his car is on the road and driven daily " well almost daily" She is fun to drive turns alot of heads.. The paint is ol, the clear coat is coming off and I wouldn't change her.. I have been asked what she needs to driven : I would replace drivers side door glass " felt was missing and when someone that was looking at her slammed the door it cracked... New Glass kit for the side of the car ( all door glass 8 pieces in the kit) is under 200 hundred dollars OR you can have it cut at a glass shop near you..I have NEW door felts for the windows are included with car ( paid 150 for them ) The heater/fan works but she needs the switch replaced ( have that too with another switch panel ) The cables to adjust the heater are in need of oiling or replacement .. The directional switch is acting funny ( you have to hold it to make it work ( Have a NEW switch ) that goes with it.... I am use to these quirks but they should be addressed..
