It has been parked for several years, nd WE FIRED IT UP TODAY AND TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE! (2/10/2016) Engine starts & runs! It will need some maintenance to get it back road worthy.We installed new wheel cylinders about 4-5 years ago. Has a matching set of Michelin tires, owever they will go down over time. 1956 was the first year for 12 volt system and they only used this body style for 1 1/2 years! We've owned this truck for many years (clear Texas title) and restored the truck back in the 1990's. It has 1956 Texas "Farm Truck" plates on it along with a period correct reproduction inspection sticker. Has the optional large wrap-around rear window! It does have a bad spot on the roof, t's rusted through above the windshield on the drivers side. (I've seen a roof for it listed here on ebay for sale for a reasonable price) It has the stainless trim for the oak wood in the bed, ut the wood has gone bad over the years.
