1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary Edition 62nd Annual Indianapolis 500 May 28, 978 Official Pace Car. Only 1 of 6502 ever made. Only 56,934 original miles. Mirrored, emovable T-tops in great shape. Engine is a 383 Stroker. Automatic Transmission.Recently granted access to photo shoot at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Runs great; it is my everyday driver! Recent, rand new 4-wheel alignment with new bearings. Brand new exhaust all the way from the motor. Brand new vacuum motor for headlights. Brand new tires, rakes, ooster, nd master cylinder (there is a little bit of air in the lines). It does have a new A/C system, although it will need a fan motor. What needs to be done: the power antenna does not work. Sometimes when you make a sharp turn there is a small noise from the wheel and I have been told it is a U-Joint or the emergency brake popping (this is not a major concern, drive it everyday with this issue). RPM gauge works only sometimes. Driver's side door handle needs new rod; it can only be opened from the inside of the vehicle. The paint looks awesome from 10 feet away, ut has normal wear for 38 year old paint. The interior is in good shape, ut the carpet and door panels would need to be replaced to be perfect (I have found a factory, ace car carpet, oor panel, nd seat cover replacement kit online for $450). This is a fantastic car. Driven almost every single day. Unbelievable attention grabber! This is the perfect collectible for any NASCAR fan! Vehicle comes with clean, lear Georgia title and current insurance registration.
