Selling my 1974 Plymouth Fury III 2 door 360/727. Buying another old Mopar and just don't have the room for it. Has been my daily driver every day with decent weather since I've owned it. I bought the car in October, 013. Was all original except for paint when I picked it up. Extremely solid car. Floors and frame are perfect. Only rust is a little around the rear wheel wells and some coming from under the vinyl top. I do not believe there are any holes under the top. One of the brackets that holds the fuel door on is rusty. Only 1 small dent located behind the rear marker light on the drivers side quarter panel. The car had been stolen at one time and the thieves punched through the trunk lock. Could possibly be repaired but the is a little rust in the trunk lip so I was going to find a replacement. The hood that is on it is the original steel hood. I cut out the center and fiberglassed in an AAR Cuda scoop. I used that hood to make a mold, nd an all fiberglass hood for it. The top side is done and would come with the car if wanted. Still needs to have a mold done of the underside to make a good strong fiberglass hood. Was going to finish it this spring. Even as is, t looks amazing and gets tons of compliments. The bad part is that the steel hood is extremely heavy and I had to remove the hood springs because they were causing the fiberglass to crack. Wasn't a big deal to me because this hood was temporary, ut it makes it hard to open and it needs a prop when you do. Finish it how you want it. 4 pins or bolt on. Bumpers are straight but need fresh chrome. I have a set of NOS rear bumper guards that will go with it. Paint is ok if you buff it out, ut getting dull. Really needs the couple of rust issues fixed, aint, nd lose the vinyl top, ut presentable as is.
I rebuilt the engine about 2 years ago. Bored .30 over, ild cam (Intake lift .447, xhaust .455, uration @ .50 212/218), hypereutectic flat top pistons (Speed Pro), rank was turned .10 under. Port matched the factory heads (smaller valve heads), ew valve springs, lips and retainers, olished and lapped the valves. Seats and guides were good. Edelbrock Performer intake, olley 650 vacuum secondary with electric choke. Stainless block hugger headers, ide exit exhaust with Flowmasters (2-1/4" going into 2-1/2" pipes). Milodon stock capacity oil pan. New rocker arms and shafts. Nice roller bearing water pump. High torque mini starter. Mopar Performance cast valve covers. Aluminum radiator. Just put in a Rev-N-Nator ECU with matching coil along with a Mallory Unilite distributor. Still needs a little tinkering to be adjusted perfect. Was on the money until I changed some parts. Currently has a slight bog when you mash the gas. Weather got cold so I quit messing with it. It's close, ust not perfect.
Transmission was just rebuilt in November. Has B&M ratchet shifter, &M extra capacity cast pan, nd new B&M 2000 stall torque converter and flex plate.
Bucket seats out of a 60s Chrysler. Had them and the original back seat recovered black last year (cost $900). No sliders on them. Bought a set of universal ones and just couldn't make it work. New carpet. Have been slowly dying the interior black. Still needs the door panels, un visors, nd a couple trim pieces done. New black seat belt for the drivers side already in. Have the matching one for the other side but not installed.
New Torque Thrust II 17x8 wheels and Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires in the spring.
Last picture is the car as I bought it. Also added a couple from when I was building the engine.
I have done a lot to this car and put a lot of time and money into it. It is a very unique car. Great shape for it's age, aily driver capable, ut definitely not perfect. Really hate to get rid of it but found a good deal close by on one of my dream cars so this one has to go. Not enough garage space to keep them all. However, will not give it away. Reserve is set high but I may lower it if the bids get close. Bid to win. Ask all questions before bidding.

*** A couple things I forgot: The wipers stopped working because the plastic bushings that attach the linkage fell apart from age. Cheap fix, ust hard getting your hands in there and pressing new
ones on. Also, he blower motor speed switch needs replaced. They're cheap and easy. Just haven't gotten around to it.
Gas gauge not working. Speedometer is a little off. Trying to think of all the little problems. I don't want to misrepresent it in any way.
