1999 Porsche 996 Cabriolet with factory hardtop. This car is about as brand new as I could expect to find in a 17 year old car. IT SHOWROOM QUALITY AND LOOKS LIKE IT IS A 2013 OR 2014. About 3 years ago I had some serious surgery and decided to treat myself to a Porsche 996 Cabriolet. I searched the internet and all the Porsche sources in the country that I could find, nbsp;and found this magnificent southern low milage car in Atlanta. I bought the car and drove it home to Gray Ga about 100 miles and since then have driven it perhaps another 50 miles. I haven't driven it much at all. Some health issues keep me from driving it much. So here it is. Its a 6 speed cabriolet with gray interior. The former owner spent crazy money (possibly $5000.) buying supposedly factory Porsche Turbo wheels and tyres (I cannot confirm this at this time). They are wider than stock and fit under the coachwork nicely without rubbing. Also these wheels are much more attractive to me than the garden variety stock 1999 wheels.
The car is about as nearly perfect as can be. The only problem that Ive had is that when the battery goes dead the front trunk cant be opened, nless you somehow override the automatic trunk release latch safety. This I did and now the battery access can be achieved easily when the battery is dead. About 3 months ago I bought a new battery for $150. I will post a few pix today and take and post more later as the weather here is bitter cold today.
Ill gladly answer questions about this magnificent car. Contact me to inquire about creative ways that I can help you own this car. I consider that the car is a $25k car but will entertain reasonable propositions.
