I am selling my 1967 Camaro SS/RS. THIS IS A REAL SS/RS CAR!!Car runs and drives very strong and tight. The exterior of the car is a 7 out of 10 and the interior is about the same. There are some flaws like a rip in the drivers seat and a couple of scratches but overall it is a great car to take to shows and is so much fun to drive. The car is SOLID! It was restored about 15 years ago but has no rot and the body lines are straight. This is a REAL running, riving, S/SS350 Camaro. If you have any questions you can call/ text me at 401-447-0305
DRIVE TRAIN:The engine is a period correct 350 ci. The intake and carburetor are not period correct (edelbrock). The transmission is a muncie 4 speed transmission matched with a factory optioned hurst shifter package. The rear axle is a 12 bolt posi rear with 3.73 gears. The transmission and rear axle are original to the car. The transmission was recently rebuilt about 500 miles ago to original specs. Also recently installed a new radiator with a HEI ditributor for a cleaner firewall. The engine also has headers and a full flow master exhaust. Unsure of exact engine internals.
INTERIOR:The interior of the car is in decent shape with two front buckets and a rear bench seat. The original interior color of the car was parchment color seats with black center console, ash and door panels. When the restoration was done on the car many years back the owner converted the interior to a full black interior with the period correct look. The door panels are original and so is the center console. This car came from the factory with the deluxe gauge package and most of the original gauges still work. (Speedometer, achometer, lock, uel level, ngine temperature, il pressure, oltage output) The car came with the factory option of a power radio antenna which is still on the car. The radio has been updated since original but is currently not working. The drivers seat has a rip in the center of the seam and there is a small rip in the seam on the back bolster of the back seat (hard to see). The blower motor and heat work great in the car. The dashboard has no cracks in it, ame with the center console
EXTERIOR:The outside of the car looks great for the age of the restoration. The car was painted with a single stage lacquer paint which still has gloss. The original color of the car was Granada Gold and was changed to the blue color during the restoration. One of the fenders and one full rear quarter panel was replaced professionally. The hood any all of the other sheet metal is original to my knowledge. The floors are solid and do not look like they have ever been replaced, ame with the trunk pan. All of the chrome looks great and all of the lights function as they should. The original RS headlight louvers are missing but has the correct grill for the set up. All of the windows are date coded and came from the factory with slight tint. All of the body lines are straight and doors shut nicely. The paint does have a few waves and blemishes from age but the car looks great from 10 feet away. There are a couple spots where the paint has bubbled but the body is solid in those spots. The tires are in great shape and the rims are the beauty rims with the staggered larger rims in the rear.
