Rare California Original One Owner Survivor.
Garage Kept Its Entire Life.
This truck for the most part is stock, nmolested and original. A factory GM crate engine was installed in the late 1980's which now has approximately 12,000 miles on it. Paint is original except for a minor repair on the right rear bed side which was done in the late 1970's. That repair area is now showing signs of minor paint checking. The fuel pump was recently replaced and the carb rebuilt. The carb can probably use some adjusting as it seems to be running really rich. I also noticed that the heater core seems to have been bypassed as you can see in the pictures. The heater core must have been leaking and because the truck didnt get used much it simply never got replaced. Other than that its been a great truck. The camper shell is the same year as the truck as you will see from the data tag. I also found what appears to be the original build sheet for the truck as you will see in the pics.
My father was the original purchaser/owner and he passed away this last year. He loved this truck and it served him very well since new. Mom on the other hand says its time to let it go. I'd keep it but simply dont have the room to store it. I've tried to point out the key features that I am aware of and what i can remember. Im sure there will be many questions and I'll be happy to try and answer them.
Thanks and good luck.
