Just had 30k service done at Porsche of Monterey
I am selling my Guards Red 1999 996 Porsche Carrera 4, his car is absolutely loaded and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The car looks like a GT3, hile maintaining a very agile 4 wheel-drive capability. With the Porsche control systems off the car really gets wild and becomes a vehicle that is more than track worthy. The car is currently street legal but is not very far at all from being a full blown track car for club racing. This car used to be an autocross champion and even kept up with Corvettes and 997's on the track. It has a huge list of modifications but most important is the new porsche motor that has been installed along with a nee transmission! I have receipts and porsche item numbers for those impotant components. IMS has also been serviced and replaced with motor and transmission. There is also work done such as new fly wheel, ew clutch, ew linkages and cables. The car has CARBON FIBER INTERIOR ACCENTS, or the sake of making room for a sportier gear box the carbon fiber center console has been removed, ut I still have the original carbon fiber center console and it is in perfect condition!
Here are a list of modifications:
-DAS 5-Point Roll Bar (Guards Red)
-RECARO FIA rated racing seats
-Schroth racing harness (Red)
-CCW Classics (Chameleon)
-Fab Speed exhaust (you can remove this and still pass smog!)
-Porsche light weight flywheel
-Porsche GT3 shifter Cables and linkages
-Porsche Racing Clutch
-Coilovers
-Brembo rotors and pads
-PORSCHE GT3 wing-Carbon fiber deck lid made in france, aintedgaurdsred to match car-Rennline sport pedals for heel-to-toe shifting
-GT3 aero
- $23k in service maintenance for engine and transmission rebuild done at 92K miles
Im probably forgetting a few things but the car is an absolute joy. However its just not economical for me to own the car at the time and I don't really go to the track to much.
