2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500, 18" Wheel Base Standard Cargo Van 2.7L Turbo Diesel

I purchased this van with 70K miles. I then converted it to a camper van. It now has 143K miles and is still running great. I recently purchased a new one, y 3rd Sprinter, nd I'm very sad to let this one go.
To fully disclose the known issues:-2" line of rust on the front right fender- see photo-typical Mercedes Benz micro spots of rust on the lower half of the vehicle- see photo-micro rock chips on the front hood- see photo-windshield has 3 rock chips-driver side arm rest is worn- see photo-small dents in the body.-engine had a leaking injector that was recently repaired-the transmission has a smaller chatter/vibration that can occur when it down shifts at slow speeds. This occurred on my previous Sprinter too. The dealers have never been able to rectify it. While it has always been a concern, t has always been there and has never worsened. -I did have a leak this winter. I believe it was caused by ice that moved that dislodged the Sirius antenna and wire that comes out of the radio antenna base on the roof. This broke the seal. I siliconed it and its seems to be ok. Time will tell.
The van has the following options:-Garmin road map mounted on the dash-Pioneer Sirius satellite radio with Bluetooth capabilities-additional speakers mounted in the rear of the van-2" Tow hitch with 7 blade wiring harness and power brake control-Extra set of 4 all-terrain tires. Probably have 20k-30k miles of tread left on them-Optional: standard factory 3 person bench seat- see photo

When I purchased this van it was just an empty cargo van. I preceded to do a "hardware store" conversion on it. This conversion included:-Insulation the walls and roof with a 1/4" foam backed with aluminum-1/4" Wall Panels, nd 1/2 ply on the ceiling. The ceiling panel could use some attention. While functional it does not look to professional.-Built the bench seat that converts to a bed for a kid-Includes 2 sets of seat belts-The bench seat/ bed has removable 4" foam cushions. These are velcroed in place. FYI, hey are functional but are in need of new velcro.-Built the shelf that is a queen bed with storage on each side- Removable-Bed includes 4" memory foam mattress, attress cover and fitted sheet.-Storage below the queen bed can be a sleeping area for another kid. aka "the man cave"-Installed a Goal Zero 1250 solar/ battery system. Located under the bench set- see photo
-Installed a ARB 50 Quart 12v cooler that runs off the Goal Zero or 120V. This is insulated and mounted between the front seats.-Installed a Honeywell Portable AC unit that is mounted under the queen bed. Model MF08CESWW-120v is wired wired to plug into a RV outlet and supplies 4 outlets-12v is also wired from the Goal Zero to 3 cigarette lighter outlets, eiling vent/fan and ceiling light-Built multiple trays and shelves for storage.-4 bar Yakima roof rack-Pull-up bar pulls our for stretching or road side pull-ups-The awning is included and is the kind that slides into a track for easy installation and removal. I took it off our pop-up camper. While it works, t will need to be replaced. Some of the threading is becoming dry rotted.-Rear door ladder-Built multiple trays and shelves for storage.-All windows, xcept windshield, ave black out curtains. For the windshield we used a reflective heat shield- not included.-3- 12v fan/lights are included.
Overall, his van has been awesome. I have maintained the engine and repaired any problems that have occurred. I have the service records and the manuals available.
