1997 Honda Civic Del Sol VTEC for sale.
If youre here, ou already know what this is. This is a RARE car. 2 seater, ard top, arga convertible. Original B16 motor w/ 225k mi still runs strong. Daily driven. 1.6l DOHC. 160hp. 5spd manual transmission. Good clutch, o slippage, o popping out of gear. Not raced or riced. All stock except for intake & stereo. 30+ mpg. AZ car. No Leaks. Legendary Honda B16 engine builds like Legos & is cheap & reliable to work on. Plenty of cargo room, elieve it or not, amp; ingenious storage built in. This is the last year these were made, o all the kinks have been worked out by Honda including redesigned targa top to prevent leaking, ear disc brakes, nterior trunk release, assenger side air bag & other features only found on this year & top of the line trim. Only 700 made & even less in this color. Go ahead and look for one, ll wait.
I bought this last year as a fun daily commuter but have since decided to go a different direction & replaced it w/ a 4x4. No matter what I do, cant get this thing to off road, o away it goes. Since then I have made many improvements, ut as they say, y loss is your gain. Below is a list of SOME of those gains:
New OEM Driver Front Axle - $150.00
New Denso OEM Starter (Not remanufactured) - $234.79
New Optima Yellow Top Battery - $224.84
New OEM Windshield - $473.34
New Radiator Fan Sensor - $63.72
New Rain X Optima Windshield Wipers - $55.32
New OEM AC Compressor (Not remanufactured) - $949.04
Over $2k invested into this car & worth every penny. It runs & drives great. All work performed by the master techs at Import Powerhouse on 27th Ave & I10. All receipts provided. Call them if you'd like a reference. Needs some cosmetic TLC but that's where you come in. Add your finishing touches for a custom look that will turn heads as a reliable daily driver. I'm looking for the right buyer that will preserve and appreciate this vintage model. I'm in no hurry to sell as it gets twice the mpgs of my 4x4. I will continue to daily drive & replace components as needed & raise the price accordingly, o act now to get in at the lowest price & mileage.
This isn't a gutless single slammer. This isn't a leaky pre-95. This isn't a riced out swap w/ engine lights like a christmas tree. This is a piece of Honda history & what made Honda great in the 90's. Good ones can go for $8k or more. Don't miss your opportunity to pick one up at a bargain price before they're all gone.
$5000 cash obo. No trades. Clean AZ title w/ box A miles.
