Description

Up for sale is a very rare 1975 Bricklin SV-1, itting on a nice set of American Racing BBS mags. This unrestored cult hit is equipped with a Ford 351 Windsor V8. This car fires right up and is road worthy today. While it is unrestored, t has been well maintained by the previous owner since 1976. There are service receipts dating all the way back to the purchase date in 1976. It had an air door assist system put in place of the hydraulic system early on in it's life, nd was well maintained over the years. That system is in place to assist with the infamous gullwing doors that these came with, uch like the DMC Delorean! They will instantly put a smile on your face the moment you press the button to open them up. A fresh set of carpet was laid down, s well as some fresh oil changed out. It's been off the road for a few years. Although Bricklin's were only produced for 3 years from 74-76, hey have been well taken care of in the aftermarket world thanks to one of Bricklin's own engineers, he recently past away Terry Tanner. He and his current shop of well trained employees have been servicing and restoring Bricklin's since the late '70's in VA. So you don't have to worry about not finding parts or support for any future service plans. Brakes and tires have good life left, nd there are no major leaks underneath. The body is made of acrylic over fiberglass, o there is not rusted out panels. There are however small spider cracks here and there, hich apparently were common pretty much from the factory. The original rims are included in the sale. And no trades are accepted. Stand out from the normal Camaro, orvette, nd Mustang at your local car show.
