1969 Chevrolet Caprice Project or Parts Car

Honestly, know very little about this car and will do my best to describe it. A coworker and I had this crazy idea that we were going to buy this car and restore it and ended up losing our job shortly after the purchase. It was basically a rolling chassis that appeared to look very solid. We purchased a 350 motor and 3 speed automatic transmission and barely bolted it to the car and never had a chance to finish to get it to run. The motor and transmission appear to be in good shape; however, could not tell you how well they run. Keep in mind that this will be a project and your guess will be about the same as mine.
The good:
Other than the rusted spots that I will describe later, he body is very solid and not at all a rust bucket. The hood, runk, and front fenders have very little rust. The trunk and fuel tank are very good. I only saw very minor rust spots in the trunk. The wheel wells are good. The frame is nearly perfect. The interior was recently redone with white leather and the seats are solid, ther than two tiny rips, ardly noticeable on the side. The chrome bumpers do not appear to have outer rust. The chrome is still shiny. There are no missing pieces in the grill or lights. It is truly a complete car. All the trim pieces are there inside and out. The car rolls really nice and does not appear to be deformed at all. The doors all easily open and shut. The windows, ith the exception of the rear right side roll up and down with ease. There is apparently no rust in the rocker panels
The Bad:
The rusted areas are apparently on the surface of the front fenders with a few small rotted areas. The bottom of the rear quarter panels have rotted out some; but are easily repairable and not at all horrible. The roof on the other hand has rotten out underneath the vinyl top. The rust area extends slightly below the roof as well. The other issue is that I don't have any idea what it would take for this car to run. There are some things missing such as the exhaust, arburetor, lternator, nd other minor items here in there if your goal is to get it to run. It could be a bit mysterious, hich is why I have no reserve on it.
There is no title as not required by The State of Alabama and some other States for anything that old. Those vehicles are title-exempt in this State and I'm not sure I can even get one. The only thing required is a Bill of Sale. Having said that, f your state requires a title, ou may have to research the issue. I don't even think I can even get one in this State.
