1996 Chevrolet Pick Up 1500

Up for auction is this SPECTACULAR 1996 Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck. I purchased this vehicle from a relative about a year and a half ago as my personal daily driver. Vehicle had approximately 145,000 miles on it when I purchased it, continued to put about 40,000 miles on it myself. Odometer shows 186,874 miles. There is about 100 miles on the new motor and components for testing purposes only .Vehicle at that time was completely stock. 5.7 L 350 Chevy motor, tock transmission and stock rear end. The color combination is completely amazing and interior is blue and also in great shape. A couple of cigarette burns and some stains and wear on the carpet but for a truck this old it shows well ! Believe it or not the paint is stock and has an amazing shine .A very common defect in the 96 5.7 engine are leaking intake gaskets. At the end of 2015 this created a problem and I had only intended to replace it and continue to run the truck when the mood struck me this is a great piece to rebuild! I tore the vehicle down over the winter completely and restored it. Bed was removed and under coated, rame and all components were sanded primed and painted with rust oleum paint. All new suspension in the front end, ncluding upper and lower control arms and new bushings for the swaybar. New tie rod ends are also install and a full alignment has been professionally completed .Retains the stock front coil springs. Front brake system has been upgraded to stainless steel brake corporation twin caliper pistons and hawk pads. Also stainless steel brake corporation slotted rotors. Includes stainless steel brake lines. Rear brake system retains the stock drum style but everything is fairly new. Transmission has been completely rebuilt and bulletproofed up to 700 hp Corvette servos and a 2700 RPM stall speed converter custom built By level 10 performance transmissions. Shift kit was also installed custom, omes with 60 months 100,000 thousand mile warranty by installer. Next the rear end was completely rebuilt, ew true track posi unit was installed with 3:73 gears and Yukon race axles. All work was also completed by level 10 performance and comes with a full warranty. Finally I ended up completely pulling the motor and replacing the stock 350 with the General Motors high-performance 383 stroker, ngine comes with three year 100,000 mile warranty from GM. All documents and paperwork will be supplied to the new owner. Brand-new vortec style intake and components were installed. JBA shorty headers stainless stee, ompletely new stainless steel 2 1/2 inch custom exhaust system, rue dual all the way, igh flow catalytic converter's and Flowmaster stainless steel mufflers .New power master 150 amp alternator, ew Radiato, water pump and power steering pump. Also installed is a cold air induction kit from K&N. MSD ignition, lugs are Bosch platinum quad with MSD coil and wires. Also installed an MSD distributor cap and rotor. Truck retains the stock air conditioning system. All fluids are Amsoil synthetic. This is a real beauty, ruck runs and drives like new with an enormous amount of power!! Custom B&M mega shifter to cruise through the gears pounding the streets!! Please look at the pictures carefully although this truck looks brand-new it does have normal scratching a few dings and the tailgate is crushed on one spot which is hard to see because I put an aluminum piece over it. If you're looking to turn heads and have plenty of power to tear up the streets this is where it's at. Engine is rated at 340 hp without the upgrades I've done, nd an amazing 430 pounds of torque!! GM got it right if you're looking to rip the tires off this is definitely your truck!! As if that weren't enough I also installed a custom audio system JL audio 10 inch sub woofer and amplifier, ioneer cd player with Bluetooth, oors have been custom built with mids and highs by audision with crossovers. Doors have also been soundproofed. Stereo was also custom installed. If you want your music to sound like the person is singing it in the truck with you this is your sound system!! Inside the bed is in fairly good condition but could probably use a liner. New front grill and lights have also been installed. There is not much missing I believe I covered every detail when completing this project. tires are almost new they were installed in the fall 2015 and seeing how it's spent the last couple of months in my garage they don't have much wear.It's a true beauty that will be a head turner for its new owner no doubt!!
