2005 Chevrolet SSR Convertible 2-Door V8 6.0 L

What can I say? This is all that’s left of my bachelor days and boy was it fun. There wasn’t a girl I met that didn’t love this car. And now since I'm married, y wife says she gets flirted with all the time so now it’s got to go! It works for a single guy and apparently a single girl. This car has required very little in repairs. The only thing big was it got a new trany.....my fault. I put new shocks all the way around, ires and front pads. Water pump is original and spark plugs are original. Still runs like a scalded ass ape and drives excellent just like new. No oil leaks and no consumption.

The 05 is the first year of the 390 hp Corvette LS to be offered in the SSR. This engine made all the difference from earlier models. It pulls a boat down the highway and still makes 16 mph, therwise, 2 mph. It’s got the Bose system in it and is awesome even with the top down and windows down at 100, t still sounds fantastic. I have had it over 140 mph and felt like quite a bit left, robably 150. I hate to let it go but I had to buy my wife a new car to keep her out of it.
