1974 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ-40 CUSTOM SUVTotal frame-off, ut and bolt restoration of a straight, outhwest 4x4 FJ40. Equipped with a fuel-injected Chevy 350 and Toyota $-speed manual transmission. Nearly every component is either factory Chevrolet or Toyota. The rebuilt TBI Chevy 350 engine utilizes a serpentine belt system with a high amp alternator, ower steering and Flowmaster exhaust. The entire factory Chevy wiring harness has ben adapted to the Toyota body achieving a completely factory look throughout, ven the factory diagnostic port is present in-cab. The transmission and transfer case were rebuilt as well. This truck is equipped with 4-wheel power disc brakes, pgrading the factory drums to vented discs all around with 4-piston calipers up front and stainless steel braided lines. The front has a shackle reversal for a more comfortable ride on the brand new Nitto 33" all terrain tires and XD 17x8" wheels. All new suspension including Rancho shocks and all bushings upgraded to Energy polyurethane. The entire body was fully media blasted, overed with etching primer top to bottom and then sprayed base coat/ clear coat in gorgeous Sterling Grey Metallic. Custom tube bumpers installed front and rear bumper-mounted auxiliary lights, ED turn signals and LED Brake lights. The interior is both luxurious and durable with the tub completely Line-X bed lined, full custom one-off roll cage, wo brand new high back leather reclining front seats and reupholstered rear jump seats. The mirror-finish dash is complete with five new Auto Meter gauges, beautiful line of custom switches and a 7" DVD navigation system. Magnificent and clean.
