Pontiac’s GTO was again revised for its 7th year in 1970 with revised front fascia with exposed headlights, ew taillight design and enhanced fastback profile! Several new engines were available, nd The Judge continued to offer extreme performance in Pontiac’s A-body! Overall GTO production crested 40,000 and once again, hey proved to be dominant both on the strip and at stop lights!

We are very excited to offer this 1970 Pontiac GTO 455 H.O. Hardtop! The car is finished in its factory correct, ne year only color 58 – Granada Gold over 257 – Sandalwood bucket seat interior and powered by a fully rebuilt, umbers matching 455ci V8 (stamped 20R122828 with cast number 9799140), ast heads (64), ual plane cast iron intake (9799068), nd Rochester Quadra-Jet 4-barrel carburetor (7020268)! It produces a factory rated 360 horsepower transferred through its original vin-stamped THM-400 automatic transmission to a 12-bolt rear end (coded WT – 3.07). Options and features on this car include front and rear spoilers, ucket seats, onsole, ally gauges with hood-mounted tach, ll tinted soft-ray glass, lectric trunk release, emote driver’s mirror, M push-button radio with windshield antenna, lectric clock, ilt steering column with deluxe woodgrain wheel, uxiliary light group (under hood, love box, runk), ubber floor mats, ower steering, ower brakes, actory air conditioning, nd added ‘The Judge’ fender accent decals! Of the 40,149 GTOs built for 1970, nly 1,986 455ci HO Automatic hardtops were produced. Aside from one repaint in its factory Granada Gold exterior color, his Goat shows every indication that its 82,527 miles could very well be original, espite us not being able to prove for certain. The paint, efinished chrome, ew interior and freshly detailed engine compartment are all in show-worthy condition and the undercarriage will suggest regular use on only the nicest days, ith new gas tank, hocks, prings, nd most steering components, way bar and polyurethane Dana Spicer u-joints bushings. While not the most powerful engine option in 1970, he 455ci was certainly the biggest and offered considerably more torque in its inaugural year. The phrase “no replacement for displacement” really cannot be described in just words- only experienced – and this is a great example of the expression. This car moves down the road exceptionally well and certainly sounds the part, hanks to the custom dual 3″ stainless steel exhaust with X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers!

This GTO is even more attractive out in the sun and is ready for weekend backroad cruising, hows or the drag strip! PHS documentation is included showing it was factory ordered with 29 options! We would invite any interested parties to call with additional questions! Thanks for looking!
