1999 Volkswagen Golf TDI 4-Door

A reliable car that needs some work. Please see the photos for the condition of the interior and any other issues not listed below.

• Water pump seal is leaking coolant during cold weather (ca. 10oz over the last year.). Water pump replacement is a standard part of a timing belt change, hich I would recommend addressing this issue.
  
• The rear driver's side corner bumper and valance bumper are torn and were bolted back together by the original owner.
• The car has probably been pimped/chipped, s the engine is smokier than usual. I have never felt any adverse effects, lthough some are offended by the smell. It reminds me of tasty barbecue.
• The radio works, ut all of its buttons have fallen off.
• The interior sunroof cover is not connected with the sunroof due to a bent clip and some missing plastic sashes. Retracting the sunroof causes terrible crunching sounds, ut the sunroof can be "tilted" open without any issues.
• The headliner is falling off and has been stapled in place.
  
• There is a malfunction indicator light caused by an aftermarket glow plug relay. The glowplug system works well and the car will start in single digit temperatures.
• The car alarm works but is on the fritz. The fob sometimes needs to be pressed a second time in order to unlock the car before it will start.
  
• There is only one key plus valet key
  
• The spare tire has a few hundred miles on it.
• Other issues: Glovebox hinge is broken; opening front driver's side door does not trigger dome light, ight on climate controls does not work, oam in air vents is missing;small pieces of foam occasionally blow out of them.
