1924 Durant Star**RARE** Barn Find (like chevrolet, model t, model a, ford)

Up for sale is my 1924 Durant Star. This car has history written all over it. Brings a smile to everyone who sees it. This car is in un-restored un-molested original 92 year old condition. It is not currently running and I do not know when it ran last. The original continental 4 cylinder turns free and has compression and is dated december of 1923. I never got a carburetor with this car and it will need a distributor to run. Transmission is a 3 speed manual which moves free into all the gears. Brakes seem to work ok but I would service them before driving. I do not have a registration/title for this car but will sell with a bill of sale only(registration can be easily obtained with a car of this age). Car is in extremely solid condition. Undercarraige looks near perfect, t looks like it was oiled regularly to prevent corrosion and even the wood floors are rot free and solid. Wood running boards will need replaced. All leather and interior are deteriorated from time and will need replaced if restored. Wood spoke wheels look and feel solid and just need cleaned up but the tires are very old and need replaced, ome do not hold air but it does roll and extra steel rim is included. The frame of the roof looks mostly intact and some bows were replaced at one time but it needs re-covered. Lower windshield is broken as you can see in the photos. This is without a doubt whats left of the original paint, ever repainted. Mileage reads 9,XXX miles and I normally wouldnt believe this to be correct if not for the inspection sticker still clearly visible on the car from 1932!!! Thats right this car has been off the road for 80+ years, etired before WWII! I find this amazing. I have enjoyed owning this piece of history and wouldn't sell it if not for my overload of projects, really need to cut back.
