For a little background, his is a 1981 Chevy LUV. With a 2.2L NA Diesel engine that has proven to be the most reliable thing I have ever seen. There is NO rust on the frame AT ALL. Gets 37 MPG highways, es 37 MPG. That’s better than most sedans. A true survivor of the 80’s, oming all the way from Texas as a small farm truck. Just turned 25 this year, o it can be registered as an antique and your insurance cost will be dirt cheap. I have spent hundreds of hours maintaining her to make her the “perfect” truck, ith recently greased bearings and locking hubs, ewer clutch assembly, hanged fluids all around, ew diesel filters, ew glow plugs, ” headers for added horsepower, 5 speed MAU-5 transmission swap for added torque and increased highway speeds, .10 gears for off roading if you so desire, ll rust preventative action gets taking my rubbing oil on all parts, ew ball joints and steering links, ew air filter, ew Bluetooth stereo system with Kicker Speakers, ew 31” tires, nterior is all original and in immaculate shape. This truck is a real head turner and everything works as it should. I love this thing with all my heart and soul and hate to see it go away. Keep in mind this is a rare truck, ith only literally hundreds remaining and this one is in tip top shape for its age. I know what it is worth, nd I have seen diesel versions of this truck go for more, ut I am looking for the right buyer.
