1987 Mercedes Benz 300SDL

Moving on from this 300 SDL I brought back to life. 230,000+ miles
Currently registered
Story told to me was sitting for 4 years, ngine had been replaced.
Diesel Engine runs very well. Good compression and oil pressure. Got rid of the valve tap by replacing an injector.
When I got the car, nly had reverse working. Now has reverse and all 4 forward gears. Replaced K1 and K2 springs, ran filter, luid, nd vacuum modulator.
Climate control including the a/c works well
Brake pads have been replaced.
Drives straight and runs at 80mph without any sway or vibration
This is not to say this is pristine in any way nor would I suggest flying in and driving cross country
Currently Turbo is not working. turbine is not locked. suspect seal has gone bad or wastegate is clogged.
All the fluids have been changed. Oil is Rotella synthetic. Anti-freeze is Zerex.
