Description

2001 Silver E-320 4-Matic Wagon located in Bethesda, D that needs work. 100,945 miles.
Actually this wagon runs and drives sufficiently fine to get in and drive it to California. Change the oil first!
Work needed:
Check engine light on probably due to catalytic converter(s). Replaced one and the check engine light is now on again. The one replaced was an aftermarket unit, believe.
ABS Stability Control flashing and ABS is not working. This had been going on periodically and is now on all the time. When it is in this "mode" ABS and stability control are NOT functional. I had a 2002 AMG E55 that did this periodically for at least 75,000 miles of it's life and all you had to do was turn it off and restart it but this wagon has gone stubborn with it and something needs fixing.
The car has a slow oil leak. I noticed it on account of it sitting for a half year in one place. It did start right up after sitting for all that time!
See the two little dents, ne in each front fender. This car has never been wrecked/painted but once had a front wheel bent in.
Tires are 75% good or so. Continentals. All electrical gear, eats, indows etc. work. No oil consumption, ngine weakness or transmission trouble.
Please see the wear on the two front seats horizontal surfaces plus the steering wheel buttons have some missing paint from having the "sticky pads" cleaned with acetone. (Old Mercedes like these frequently get a gross sticky paint failure on the steering wheel buttons). The floor mats are not very nice.
If I didn't describe a flaw or problem it's fine. I'm not hiding ANYTHING about this wagon. I do love these cars and you can see my 01 4-Matic sedan in one of the photos. This one just isn't needed in the "fleet" any more and does need work.
You are bidding at auction to buy the car. Do not bid unless you can make the purchase. The car is free and clear, old as-is and where-is which is Bethesda, D. If you're near here you can come look at it/drive it.
