I'm listing this as a parts vehicle or project in progress even though it runs and drives it still has some work to do.
4" lift was installed when I bought it. Jeep needs shackle work or spring work to sit completely level.
They aren't cheap and this one has over $15,000.00 in new or rebuilt parts alone not to mention it has a brand new 304 V8 with an RV cam, ew headers, ew motor mounts, ew power brake booster and master cylinder (still in the box) that I have completed in the past month.
I started with having a new 304 built here in Dallas. Put the existing Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock 600 CFM carb on it. New electronic ignition also. Carb needs some additional tuning.
It has PLENTY of loud, oping power now. It has a reconditioned hard top but the doors are not a great addition so I would dump them for the correct doors. There are 2 new tops (both the complete soft top and bikini top) that came with the Jeep when I bought it. I haven't installed them since the engine has been the priority. The previous owner cut the rear fender flares for the after market doors so those need to be replaced (approx $50.00).
New wench, ew bumpers, ew tires and rims, ew seats, ew locking cargo boxes, ew stereo AND, his Jeep has NEW air conditioning, ower steering, ront disk brakes.
The next step in the project will be to adapt the shackles or change to a different spring since I notice the current springs rest on the override leaf.
I have not had this Jeep on the road other than side streets getting the engine timed and doing the break in on it. I never planned on off roading it. I just wanted a cool looking 4WD to take to car shows and cruise to Sonic and back. I'm 65 years old and this isn't exactly the easiest vehicle to get in and out of at my age.
The next thing will be the high pressure switch on the AC line isn't functioning right so that needs replacing. (minor) New unit with latest refrigerant. ALL new.
I don't know much about this Jeep other than that. It's LOUD (Cherry bomb glass packs with headers) and strong. Engine doesn't have 20 miles on it yet.
The carb needs adjusting to new engine.
This vehicle starts, uns and drives as is. It's very rigid and tough. The previous builder put a lot of time and money into his effort.
I've tried to be totally honest about what I know regarding this vehicle. Pictures say a lot. It's got some expensive parts on it. I have $16,000.00 in her now. The rest of the way to completion will be mostly ones love of a Jeep, ome labor and very little money needed.
Title is signed, lear, ree of liens from the previous owner. I haven't had time to even transfer it yet. Too excited over the engine build. It's licensed as "antique" currently. No inspection required.
Price is firm. Parts alone are worth the asking price.
Here is a partial list of parts in this vehicle. This is around $13,000.00 in parts. Cost of Jeep was $7,000.00 so there's $20,000.00 here.
