1965 Pontiac GTO 389 Tri-Power A/C PS PB PW PHS Documented

This is an incredibly clean PHS documented southern California GTO I bought in 2005.

10 year old restoration but still looks gorgeous inside and out. Complete stock rebuild of the 335 horse YS 389 engine with new turbo 350 TCI transmission. The car runs and drives as new and has less than 5K miles on it since restored. Idles smooth and runs on pump gas and the tri-power works perfectly. The 3:23 posi rear was professionally built with new carrier and does not whine. The car has front disc brakes that stop much better than the drums did. The air conditioning was converted to R-134A with a kit from Old Air products. The AC blows freezing cold air. Car was never hit and undercarriage has never rusted. The frame is not even pitted. All of the body mounts are clean and un -rusted. The entire body is rust free. The car has obviously not been driven in bad weather. The rear bumper was re-chromed but the front bumper is original and starting to dull in places. Some minor chips in the paint but overall great condition. Trunk floor is original and solid. Power windows all work fine. The dual exhaust system has standard turbo mufflers that are very quiet when the car is driving. (Until the tri- power kicks in!) I do have the original 4 barrel intake and carb and powerglide trans that go with the car. Have a fortune in receipts also.
