I had this Camaro shipped to me in 2013 from theLas Vegas area. The previous owner bought it in 1976 with a blown motor. He said it is an original SS and everything I have found points to it being a real SS. (It hasthe extra fuel line in the frame rail, actory disc brakes, factory dual exhaust) He had a Chevrolet dealer install a brand new long block in it. It was Rally Green with a white vinyl top and a light green interior. He didn't like that combo so in 1979 he had the custom paint job done and changed the interior to black. That's the way it remains. The original 12-bolt rear is long gone. There is a 10-bolt open multi leaf rear in it, nd I don't know the ratio. I would guess around 3.08. I had the flywheel surfaced and installed a new clutch and new rear shocks.I also put anew original SS style dual exhaust system on it. It is a very solid car that could be used asa daily driver. My plan was to have it painted, ut I have a few other projectsgoingthat alway seem to come first, nd could use the money to finish them up.
